John started in the financial services industry in 1984. He worked with a registered investment advisor and in 1992 he obtained his Certified Financial Planner™ certification.
John became one of the original founding members of Moneco Advisors in 1994. Since that time, John has been instrumental in building the cultural and practice management aspects of the firm. Leading with experience and dedication, John prioritizes a hands-on approach to financial advising, ensuring each client receives personalized attention and service. John’s passion is to empower clients to achieve their goals and to thrive by prioritizing commitment and trust in his advisory relationships.
Education & Certifications:
John is a native of Westport, CT, with family roots dating back to 1878. After attending Greens Farms Academy and the Lawrenceville School, he attended the University of North Carolina-Greensboro where he earned a bachelor’s degree in English and was also a member of the men’s varsity soccer team. While in Greensboro, he met his future wife, Meg.
Personal:
Beyond his professional role, he is also deeply committed to supporting his community. John actively mentored young people through competitive soccer as well as civic programs such as Junior Achievement and Cub Scouts, demonstrating his dedication to fostering both individual success and community growth. John lives in Fairfield and is active in the business community as a former Chairman of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. John enjoys cycling, hiking, as well as traveling with his wife to visit their four sons who live throughout the US.
