Al specializes in comprehensive wealth management and financial planning services tailored for individuals and their families. With a primary focus on retirement planning, he seamlessly integrates tax and estate planning, life and long-term care insurance, and investment advice to ensure his clients can work toward their financial goals.
Experience:
Before joining Moneco in 2024, Al spent six years as a financial planner at RWP Capital. His extensive experience also includes serving as the General Counsel at NES Associates, a consulting firm that supported U.S. Department of Defense and related agencies until its acquisition by CSRA and General Dynamics in 2018. His early career saw him practicing law as a litigator in the New York Metropolitan area during the 1990’s, where he gained invaluable skills that he now applies to his financial planning practice.
Education & Certifications:
Al graduated with honors from Tufts University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He obtained his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law and has been licensed to practice law in New York since 1989. Committed to ongoing education, he passed the CFP® Certificate Examination in 2016 and received his CFP designation in 2018. In 2021, he achieved the RICP® (Retirement Income Certified Professional) designation from The American College.
Personal:
Al is deeply committed to serving his community. He is a past president of the Board of Education for the Rye Neck Union Free School District, where he was elected by the community to serve three consecutive three-year terms as a Trustee. He is also a Certified Counselor of Domestic Violence in Connecticut and volunteers with YWCA in Greenwich, CT for its Domestic Abuse program. Al is an active member of the Westchester County Bar Association and its Trusts and Estates Section, the Estate Planning Council of Westchester County, and the Financial Planning Association (FPA)—Greater Hudson Valley chapter based in White Plains.
Al lives in Mamaroneck, NY with his wife, Debbie, and their dog, Sutton. Their daughter, Julia, is a senior at Tufts University. Their son, Cole, is a medical student at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. Al enjoys golf, tennis, playing his guitar, and spending time with his friends and family.
