Financial Safety and Preparedness

Why Defending Your Wealth Goes Beyond Investing

When people think about financial planning, they often focus on saving, investing, and growing their wealth. While these are important pieces of the puzzle, a strong financial plan also includes strategies designed to shield what you’ve worked hard to build.

From helping address the financial impact of a disability to supporting loved ones through life insurance, planning for life’s uncertainties plays an important role in a comprehensive financial strategy. Long-term care planning can also help manage future expenses and support financial flexibility over time.

At its core, financial planning is about finding balance between growing wealth and preserving it, creating a strategy that not only helps you pursue your goals but also provides confidence that you’re prepared for life’s uncertainties.

The Dispatch: Monthly Market Update

Markets Find Their Footing Amid Positive Developments

June brought a mix of encouraging economic and geopolitical news that helped support markets despite ongoing concerns around inflation and interest rates. A historic peace framework between the United States and Iran helped ease pressure on energy markets, while continued strength in technology and artificial intelligence-related investments fueled gains across major equity indexes.

Although the Federal Reserve signaled that interest rate hikes remain a possibility as inflation stays above target, markets demonstrated resilience and finished the month near record highs. The month’s volatility served as a reminder that short-term uncertainty is a normal part of investing, even during periods of overall market strength.
