The Director of Marketing is a full-time, salaried senior leadership role with competitive benefits and performance-based bonus potential. Reporting to the CEO, this position owns the firm’s brand, marketing strategy, and communications — while serving as a key partner to our advisors, our Director of Growth, and our executive team. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable thinking big-picture and rolling up their sleeves to execute.
What You’ll Do
You’ll shape how Moneco shows up in the world — across digital channels, advisor relationships, M&A activity, and the communities we serve. Your work will span four key areas:
Brand & Marketing Strategy
- Own brand consistency and voice across all platforms, materials, and communications.
- Lead campaigns, sponsorships, events, and thought leadership that build awareness and deepen client engagement.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to sharpen our positioning and inform strategic decisions.
Business Development & M&A Support
- Partner with the Director of Growth to support M&A pipeline activity — developing materials, messaging, and positioning that help prospective teams understand what joining Moneco means.
- Create advisor-facing marketing tools that enhance business development effectiveness and client acquisition.
- Coordinate events and relationship-building opportunities with measurable ROI.
Marketing Operations & Technology
- Oversee and optimize CRM and marketing platforms including HubSpot and WordPress.
- Drive automation and segmentation strategies for client and prospect communications.
- Track KPIs and campaign performance to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
Team Leadership & Compliance
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Marketing Coordinator, supporting their growth and managing workflow priorities.
- Ensure all marketing content meets regulatory and internal compliance requirements, including coordination of the firm’s content approval process.
- Manage external vendor relationships and marketing budget with a focus on ROI.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in financial services, wealth management, or professional services.
- Proven ability to lead both strategy and execution across brand, digital, and business development marketing.
- Experience in a compliance-driven environment, with an understanding of FINRA/SEC marketing requirements.
- Proficiency with HubSpot, WordPress, and related marketing and CRM platforms.
- Strong communicator and collaborator — able to work effectively across advisors, operations, and leadership.
- A strategic thinker who can also execute — comfortable moving between big-picture and day-to-day.
- Based in or willing to work regularly from one of Moneco’s offices, with regular presence in Fairfield, CT.
