Hope In Motion
At Moneco Advisors we are constantly striving to give back to the communities that we are fortunate to live and work in. This week we spotlight some of the members working out of our New Canaan office. Derrek Metz, Todd Schroeder and Doug MacLean (pictured below), participated in the annual Beer Yoga event in Stamford earlier in the month. This popular event combines a healthy activity while enjoying your favorite libation. Moneco New Canaan was also one of the sponsors for this hyper local event. Beer Yoga for Hope in Motion raises funds to benefit the Bennett Cancer Center which is affiliated with Stamford Hospital. Funds are used to sustain services at no cost to patients like transportation to treatments, lunches for patients in chemotherapy, grants for non-medical expenses, exercise classes, Reiki sessions and more. Way to go team!

6th Annual Fairfield Police Sunset 5k – Presented by Moneco Advisors
The 6th Annual Fairfield Police Sunset 5K – Presented by Moneco Advisors is set for July 17th. All proceeds will be donated to the Fairfield Police Union Scholarship Fund & the Fairfield Police Foundation. You can run (3.1 mile) or walk (1 mile) course. We were able to increase the number of participants to 1000 this year and do expect to sell out, so don’t delay, sign up today for Fairfield’s most memorable night of the summer!
