Financial Planning For Breast Cancer Survivors

Long-Term Financial Planning For Breast Cancer Survivors

A breast cancer diagnosis profoundly impacts not only health but also financial stability, necessitating a comprehensive approach to long-term financial planning for survivors. Key considerations include evaluating liquid assets, creating a budget that prioritizes health-related costs, and managing any debt accrued during treatment.

It’s essential to assess insurance needs as well and to explore available financial assistance programs to ensure ongoing support. With proactive strategies and careful planning, we hope that breast cancer survivors can navigate their financial futures with confidence and resilience. Pequot Runners: Community Event

We are looking forward to time with community/friends/family as the holidays approach, and 35 days from your receipt of this email, we are co-sponsoring the Pequot Runners Thanksgiving Day Race/Walk near our Fairfield, CT location. Run 5 miles OR walk 2.6 miles with some of us from the Fairfield and New Canaan Moneco offices. Hope you can join us in watching, supporting or training for and participating in the event!

Spectators and families of entrants line the course and can attend the post-race festivities. What Can A PEP Do For A Business?

If you are a business owner providing an employer-sponsored retirement plan (or know someone who is), Pooled Employer Plans (PEPs) were brought into use under Congress’ SECURE (Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement) 2.0 Act.

PEPs can provide an alternative to traditional 401(k) plans, particularly for small businesses facing challenges such as high administrative costs, fiduciary responsibilities, and compliance complexities.

How? By allowing multiple employers to collaborate under a single plan, PEPs can significantly reduce administrative burdens and transfer fiduciary responsibilities to a designated Pooled Plan Provider, minimizing risk for employers.

If you would like to learn more, click to read the article below or reach out to your financial advisor who has access to our full retirement consulting team at Moneco and can help to answer any of your questions.
