The Marketing Internship provides hands-on experience supporting marketing initiatives at a growing independent financial planning firm. Working closely with the Director of Marketing, you’ll contribute to campaigns, research, content creation, and reporting while learning how marketing fuels growth in wealth management.
What You’ll Do
You’ll work directly with the marketing team to build campaigns, analyze results, and contribute to content across multiple channels. Your work will span four key areas:
Campaign Management & Outreach
- Assist in creating and managing email campaigns.
- Leverage Wealthbox CRM to execute targeted outreach and track results.
Content & Communication
- Collaborate on newsletters, social media, and other marketing materials.
- Monitor and update the firm’s website and social channels.
Analysis & Research
- Build reports in Excel to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and make strategic recommendations.
Events & Team Support
- Help organize events, webinars, and workshops.
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing team as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis and reporting).
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact, Mailchimp).
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Wealthbox a plus) or willingness to learn.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to balance multiple priorities.
- Interest in financial services is a plus, but not required.
